Advantages: Low fares, Friendly helpful staff, great offers and smooth flights

Disadvantages: don't always fly so frequently from smaller airports like Blackpool

By far the BEST low cost airline!
When you pay low cost airline prices you expect to be treated the way you do on Ryanair flights - or a free for all trying to grab a decent seat on a Easy jet flight.

With Jet2 you get a seat allocated - very friendly staff, they are so lovely natured, from check in to air hostesses, they will do what they can to accommodate you, and they always offer you extra leg room for an extra £10..however you don't really need it. They have great £5 meal deals on board which is like a drink a sandwich and a tub of Pringles which is very reasonable.

I have flown with Jet2 from several airports, mainly Blackpool and Manchester and all the flights I have had with them (currently 12) have been fantastic! Not one bad flight. Not many people can say they have had 12 flights with an airline and every single flight was great!

They also have some fantastic offers, if you can fly outside school holidays do so and go with Jet2 as they offer some ridiculously low rates - but as I say the difference is you pay a low fare and get fantastic service!

Summary: Pay £5 more going witgh Jet2 rather than Ryanair and you will see an amazing difference!

yes it does if you check in together - as long as you check in together they will allocate you seats next to each other

I get your point but getting a seat allocated doesn't mean you'll get to sit next to yor travelling companion(S)

you can pay extra to choose where you want to sit - but when you go and check in normally you get allocated a seat - you only have to pick and pay online if you are fussy were you sit..
