I was really looking forward to my JMC holiday to Spain being the first time I had flown I was really excited.

The outward journey wasn't too bad we only spent 45mins sitting on the tarmac waiting to take off.

The actual holiday was all I hoped it would be plenty of sun and relaxation and very good hotel.

Then came the time to leave on arriving at Malaga airport we were told there was a delay of 11 hrs.Not to worry said the rep we only intend to leave you at the airport for FOUR HRS then we will collect you and put you up in a four star hotel until the morning.

Four hrs later as promised the coach arrived to take us to the hotel. At least we would be comfortable for the night.

Should I be so trusting/ on arrival we were told /sorry there are no rooms available but we can provide you with a buffet meal.

The buffet looked like the day befores leftovers/needless to say most of the passengers abstained from partaking of this offer.

Three hrs later we were taken back to the airport given 1600 pesatas for refreshments and left to wait out what turned out to be another seven hrs.

The money was useless as they omitted to point out that every refreshment establishment at the airport was closed for the night.
So apart from being unable to buy so much as a cup of coffee the airport building was extremely cold we kept awake by walking up and down all night.

The following morning we were told by the JMC rep. we would be able to claim compensation for the disastrous end to our longed for holiday of up to a maximum £20 per person.

I am so grateful to JMC for this unselfish offer after all what had I lost/ONLY A NIGHTS SLEEP/EDIBLE FOOD FOR THE DURATION OF THIS ORDEAL/A DAYS WORK OWING TO THE DELAY/AND NO EXPLANATION OF THE DELAY.

THANKS JMC BUT NO THANKS.Next time I spend my hard earned cash on a holiday it will be with a real airline.

After all I have already given
you what turned out to be 15hrs of my life for £20.

I feel so sorry for you having to put up with that but then again it's not really JMC's fault that the airports facilities weren't right but maybe you could add a bit more about the on-board flight service and then if you contact me I would be happy to re-read and re-rate.

I have to say also that you seem to have been very unlucky in this instance. I have just returned from my JMC holiday in Corfu, the holiday was great and I arrived home 15 minutes early on the return flight. I have to say the conditions at Corfu Airport were depressing, but the organisation from JMC eliminated any problems there! Sorry to hear of your misfortune.

My god this sounds awful. You seem to have had an awful experience. Our flights were great but the holiday was rubbish, just goes to show that JMC cant get their act together. Cheers, Alex.
