Advantages: got there, cheaper maybe??

Disadvantages: food and service poor, jittery airplane, theres just nothing special at all

Is great going on your holidays? Isn't it so much nicer when you know the differnce between a good and bad airline and you get a good one?

This year I was lucky - I went on 3 holidays, the first and third of these we went on JMC, the second was Virgin - which was a world apart from this I hasten to add.

JMC planes are prehistoric I think! There is just nothing going on on this service that could be called classy - and even though we tend to go economy anyway on the typical package tour holiday, budget class on another airline would, I'm sure be first class JMC - if they have it that is!
But the flight both there and back was jittery and you felt both take-off and landing like you was on the 'Big-One' at Blackpool...

We took off both times late - yet there seemed to be no good reason at all for it. The planes were already there and on the way out we was nearly 2 hours later, on return we was sent to the gate in good time, all looked promising to go on schedule - but then just sat at the gate for 45 minutes longer - without so much as a comment from the staff. Everyone puffing a thousand fags thinking they can't have one for a while and the children that had been for their pre-flight wee had to go again etc - just a bit unecessary when theres a mic and it takes a second or 2 to say you will be waiting for half hour longer - I for example would have gone and got a cup of tea with a choice.

The food is mediocre - just about palatable, but nothing special, very plasticy cutlery etc.

The chair comfort is pretty typical to be fair. But no options for pillows etc apparant, and you did not like to ask the staff (see staff below)...

The TV's are a million miles away or on top of your head!

Headphones - even in 2001 have to be bought, lots of other airlines now just let you use and hand back at end of flight.

Staff - The crew was really nice and friendly, but I'm sure the
re was not enough of them, they did not seem to stop all flight, poor things. So you did not want to ask for anything as well anyway.

Sorry JMC - I paid for the holiday on the Travel TV Shop, and it cost £795.00 for 2 for a week in Malta, so I can't moan all in all - just glad it wasn't my main holiday or would be disappointed.

I know its nothing to do with the airline, but it was a JMC holiday in all anyway and thought it might be worth mentioning that the rep was also invisible once you got to the hotel too.

Got to give you a thumbs down as overall there was nothing special about the travel and JMC do not go out of their way to add to your excitement at all, and both the travel and the plane itself was a drag actually.

I won't choose JMC again!
