With a web site like theirs, how will you find out what their flights are like? (KLM)

Advantages: Fly to some places not served by other airlines

Disadvantages: Web site automated to the extent of being useless in some situations

I've flown with KLM a few times and found them good. Nicer than budget airlines on the whole though I think they charge a lot of money for their flights on some routes and I would say they aim their services squarely at the business traveller. What prompted me to write this review was their web site.

Once I'd selected my country of departure (Norway), I couldn't change it. Even by going back to klm.com and starting all over again, a cookie had obviously been put on my PC (and I didn't click the "remember me" box) telling their web site "this person only ever wants to fly from Norway" so IF, for example, I found a budget airline flight to Schipol from Norway and wanted to book a scheduled flight from there to Humberside, it wasn't possible. I gave up and used ebookers instead. My time, and yours, is precious.
