Wonderful service, and Typically Dutch (KLM)

What can I say about KLM, or De Koningklijk Luchtvaart Maatschapij. (In English. The ROYAL Aviation Company.)

Being Dutch, I am obviously proud of our National airline. I have heard mixed reviews about them, but from my experience, they have been fantastic!

I do however, feel that they can be rather expensive! For example, I am looking to fly from Amsterdam, back to London, in January, and I can fly with a certain Budget airline for £36. However, with KLM, it is going to cost 365 Euros!! I mean, come on KLM, how do you expect people to use your company?

I did however, fly from Bristol to Amsterdam, with them, and the service was brilliant! In the short amount of time, that the flight was in the air, they managed to serve a 2 course meal, and as much free drink, as we wanted!

The food tasted delicious, and it was a welcome treat, to be served tasty food, with a proper professionalism!

I also enjoy hearing Dutch, when I board the plane to go back, but I mean that's not really to do with the service, it just makes me feel at home.

If you can find a reasonably priced flight with the KLM, then I say go for it, but don't let them sting you! If the price isn't good enough, and you can get a cheap flight elsewhere, then I don't think they are worth it.

Summary: Nice service, but not always worth the price.
