Advantages: Good Food, Good Entertainment, Excellent Service

Disadvantages: Short seat pitch at the back

On 21st January my husband and I were travelling to the Barbados to join a cruise around the Caribbean. The airline to be used was Monarch. As I am terrified of flying and I have never been on a plane for longer that 4 hours I was dreading the experience. I wanted to find out what the airline was like so I stopped by this sight to read the reviews. To my horror the majority of the reviews were very negative and I was more frightened that ever and for the next two weeks was kept awake with nightmares of the future flight to come.

We have just returned from our holiday and all I can say is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC well done Monarch Airlines. The flight was brilliant service and food was excellent along with the entertainment. We were fortunate that we had been allocated seats in the premium section and I understand the seats at the back of the aircraft were very cramped and on long haul flights this should not be allowed. However even these passengers said that it wasn't too bad.

I now feel that I can fly anywhere in the world now - nothing to stop me now.
