MONARCH AIRLINES


This is another low cost airline which I have used on a number of times and I have found reasonable in cost.

The website is very easy to use and informative to the costings of the various add-ons.


The staff are very friendly when you get to the airport and always want to please. Recently when my daughter flew to Malaga she found that her luggage was missing so when she spoke to a member of Monarch Airlines in Malaga they were straight away on to the problem and everything got sorted in less than 24 hours and they personally delivered her suitcase to where she was staying.

When we booked my daughter in it was a little confusing at Gatwick to know which queue to go to apart from that they were very quick at the booking in desk. The staff were very helpfull and even though it was very busy they still were very polite and pleasant and had time to deal with everyone quickly and efficiently.

Monarch Airlines have been in operational since 1968 and delivering a very high service to customers who wish to fly.. It started with just 2 aircraft but now it has many more and flys to 100 destinations or maybe even more.The airline has been successful and they adapt there services to what their customers want..and to the general change in travel.

In 1971 the first jet service took place and the year 1972 they were carrying 5000,000 passengers.

They were the first charter airline to put in an order for the new Boeing 757 in 1981 and four years more they expanded again to meet the demand of people wanting package tours.
So 1985 they managed to get a licence to fly to Malaga, Menorca and Tenrife.This was the start of their scheduled division .They then started to fly also from Luton and the business was steadily expanding. Also you fly with Monarch from Manchester as well.
From 2001 they launched the website so that people could booked the flights on line which makes it very convenient so that you do not need to speak to anyone on the phone and the advantage of booking on line you can do this anytime of the day.
I will certainly use them again because their prices are very good value and also the times of the flights often suit me better than other lowcost airlines. Also I find there are more than one flight to choose from at very good prices. I like the way that you can select your seat before hand and also that to save time you can book in online which is quicker when you get to the airport.
