Advantages: Staff were Helpful

Disadvantages: Food, Legroom

I recently travelled on Monarch airlines during the summer. Having never flown on the airline before I didn't know what to expect. The flight was a long one flying from Stansted to Rhodes in Greece, 5-6 hour I think.
The main problem I had on the flight was the amount of legroom. I just fitted in and no more. I didn't want to walk around on the aisle, as I didn't want to disturb the stewards also if I did want to get out I would have had to disturb the people beside me as it was very tight getting in and out, eventually nature called and I had to get out of my seat and go to the toilet. On my way to the WC, I noticed that the best place for legroom was the row of seats behind the exit door, as it had ample room for people to get on and off the plane.
The in-flight meals weren't the best; I received a hot baguette with cheese and ham. It did not taste nice at all who ever came up with that recipe didn't put a lot of thought in to it at all. So my advice would be bring your own food, a bit drastic I know but its that or put up with dog food. Also as the flight was a nighttime flight people were requesting blankets and pillows/cushions to get a bit of sleep. I asked for a blanket trying to get a bit of sleep, but I was told by the steward that they had run out of blankets.
But it was not all bad, the in-flight programmes were good, comedies such as Porridge and Black adder and the Simpson’s although I don’t think that some of the programmes like Porridge were suitable for the young children on board. Also I had to pay £1 for the rental of earphones to enable me to hear the Programmes and I had to return them at the end of the flight. If you didn't like the programmes on the tv you could listen to the radio but the problem with this was that the radio stations were on tape and would repeat exactly the same thing every hour. The crew onboard were very helpful attending to my every need and this was the best thing on the
flight for me. But apart from the small problems I had onboard the flight went smoothly and I arrived on time at my destination. Thanks for reading.

Decent first op. It would be even better if you left a blank line between each paragraph.
Welcome to dooyoo.
