Delta Airlines (DL) ... wanted to give you a review of a Delta Flight I took from Gatwick to Seattle earlier this year. This review will concentrate on the customer service aspects and will also give a slight mention to purchasing the ticket. Historically Delta has always been one of the cheapest airlines when travelling to Seattle so I have used them on this journey on many occasions. Delta does not have a direct route to Seattle and on this occasion I had to transfer in Cincinnati. This is usually not a complex procedure with the staff quite happy to answer any question that you may have. FlyGlobespan ... to Halifax, 29th August 2009. We paid extra for business class seats, and these were decent value for the extra legroom, but my footrest fell off. The interior was obviously the original from the early 1980s, so some seats were falling apart and it was difficult from many seats to view the movies. The flight was delayed by about 2 hours, which seems to be as near to on time as this airline gets. Even in the business class seats, pillows, blankets and headsets cost extra, as did every drink except water (from a fountain near the toilets) and tea/coffee. The meal was just plain bad. FlyGlobespan ... flew with FlyGlobeSpan in September 2007 from London Gatwick to Vancouver. When I originally booked the flights I had not heard of FlyGlobeSpan but they were the cheapest flights I could find so I booked them anyway prepared for the discomfort that travelling low cost entails. On arrival at the airport we checked in with ease and boarded the plane on time. The planes are basic with television screens at various points throughout the plane (if you are short, like me, and sat in the middle seat then you are unlikely to see the screens).
