... airlines has been through some rough times and as a result has merged with Northwest airlines. I travelled with them to Orlando via New York on their 767-400 aircraft which was a great plane to fly and one of the newest, we left manchester airport s Terminal 2 on time and had free food and drink with some friendly flight attendents. They had a flight map on the overhead screens but at that time didn t have in-seat PTV screens. We were given landing cards but I had no pen so i had to ask a flight attendent for one. I think airlines should start putting pens on board. Once I landed in New York, the Delta Terminal was very busy from all the Delta European flights ...

... wife booked our holiday last year through an Internet company and they in turn booked us onto a Globespan flight. And there the problems started. We got no paperwork apart from flight documents from Fly Globepspan. I had to check the internet for the luggage allowance. 20 kilos. BE WARNED, IT IS NOT CLEAR BUT THIS ACTUALLY INCLUDING HAND LUGGAGE. On arrival at the airport we were then told about a £13 charge PER CASE just to get it in the hold. If you check luggage in, in advance it is £8 per case. We had no chioce but to pay by credit card. The sting here is that is you pay cash you get a £10 handling charge. Credit Cards attract no charge. The check in proce...

... flew with Delta Airlines from London Gatwick to Atlanta and then to Miami a little while back now, and it was just a horrible, horrible experience. Up until this flight I had never flown with a US flight company and will prabbly never be flying again with another US based flight company after this terribble experience. To start with their aeroplanes looked very dated, a lick of paint and a good scrub would not go a miss here. The cabin crew were not much better, very rude and their uniforms were not the most tasteful, shall we say. For a long haul flight I would have expected my own back of seat screen, not so, this was kept as a luxury for thosetravelling in the upper...
