I fly with Olympic Airways quite frequently, every 2-3 months, and, even though I have never been on a long haul flight with them, I am very happy with the service they provide. I don't remember any bad incidents taking place and the staff are always very helpful and friendly. If you are lucky enough to fly with the newer aircrafts (such as B737-300, B737-300 and A340-300) then you will made to feel like a king!! The new type seats are more comfortable and they have a personal video screen, remote video control unit, adjustable head rest, footrest and large seat back recline. Greek and foreign newspapers are available on board and the food is excellent, especially the wine which is distributed in small bottles and you can have as many as you want! Also, I was impressed with the variety of films and music that there is during the flight (I must admit, however, this is for the bigger aircrafts). Their prices are much lower compared to other airlines for the same destinations (about £100 difference on average) and the only disadvantage I can think of is their punctuality. This of course depends on the season because if you fly during the summer you will almost definitely experience delays of about 2-3 hours on average! Do try them, however, and you will not be disappointed!

Destinations: Europe, Montreal, Toronto, Boston, New York, Moscow, Beirut, Amman, Kuwait, Dubai, Larnaca, Alexandria, Cairo, Jeddah, Johannesburg, Bangkok, Sydney, Melbourne. Also, as it is the main domestic Greek airline, they fly to most Greek cities and islands.
