zoom: potentially first class (Other airlines...)

this is a review of zoom airlines - a low cost transatlantic airline that flies from the UK to Canada and the USA. I have travelled from london gatwick to new york twice with zoom in the last 7 months and both my flights have left a lot to be desired. firstly it is worth pointing out that zoom are the cheapest airline to fly with to new york from the UK. in fact if you find the same flight cheaper they will refund the difference. so i booked some flights as they had a promotion on and went just before xmas last year.
we were in premium seating as we had received this for free as part of the promotion which was great however they told us that on the return flight we would be sat in economy(extra legroom a gesture of goodwill) as there were changes unforeseen to the plane. no probs as were refunded the difference. yet when we checked in our seats had been given to somebody else so we ended up in normal economy. once back home we emailed customer services who offered us extra legroom seating free of charge if we ever flew with zoom again. so we booked some more flights for june and went to new york again. on the return flight, surprise surprise, our seats had been given to somebody else. basically zoom have poor admin and are v disorganized, you pay what you get for so if you want better service then pay the extra 50 quid and fly with BA, if they are any better at the moment! tho for the unfussy flier who can sleep on long haul flights, you do get a good price with zoom, even if the planes look like they belong in the 80s!
