Pennine Helicopters LTD Reviews

Newest Review: ... Ltd by another person is obviously a very difficult customer!! I am currently completing an Aviation degree and many times we have our training cancelled due to bad weather!! The whole industry revolves around safety and must be understood, hence the flights would be cancelled by a bad weather forecast or a malfunction as it is unsafe...The company will have to ensure that every possible angle is safe, I'm sure the company do not cancel for their own benefit... as what's the point in running a business to do that?! Air travel is the safest form of travel!! Risks cannot afford to be taken! It's better to be safe than sorry!! It annoys me... more

I would like to give a big thanks to all the staff at pennine helicopters.I only had one flight cancelled, all phone calls I made were polite, helpful and professional. The ground crew were friendly and helpful.I was a little nervous at first, But cpt. Ruddy made me feel relaxed and comfortable, What a lovely manWhat's more amazing was being able to take the co pilot seat.I am still flying high from the experience, keep going over it, shame it wasn't an hour long, it went so quickly. Would definitely do it again.May I take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Regards Diana Orme. P.S. will recommend to everyone I know

My family and I chartered a helicopter flight from our family farm to the Lake District. Before booking I spoke to several Helicopter companies and to be honest none of them came anywhere near to the excellent service of Pennine helicopters. From the moment of my first inquiry right through to the follow up call after our flight we received an exceptional professional service. They kept me informed all the way prior to the flight, arrived on time, explained everything to us and made our flight the truly wonderful experience it was meant to be.Thankyou so much

I would like to say that I have now flown with Pennine Helicopters twice. The first time was a gift and I found the whole experience fantastic. The second flight, which was today, was booked for a group of disabled. Deaf people. On both occasions, I have found the staff and the pilot very helpful and courteous and I would have no hesitation in booking with them again (in fact I intend to) and indeed would recommend them highly.Regarding the cancellation of flights, we did have one cancelled because of the fog, but the company did do their best to get to us and I would much rather the flight was enjoyable and safe...... so please all you lot that have complained about cancellations... get a grip!

I bought my grandma a 20 minute flight on The Dambusters Run worth £155.00 for her birthday; She took it from the Huntsman at Holmfirth. She thoroughly enjoyed it flying over the areas my grandma and grandad used to walk... The flights were cancelled twice due to bad weather and each time they were cancelled I was not at all disappointed for my grandma as it is safety at the end of the day.
