Qatar Airways

I have been lucky enough to have travelled with Qatar airways in all 3 classes and wanted to share my experience as i think many people will find it interesting. Prices: prise wise, they are pretty similar to rates with similar airlines such as emirates, ethiad, etc but , you may find they do a lot of offer seats so can be much cheaper on certain occasions than their competitors. As a frequent flyer, I had my worst experience with Qatar airways flight 0133 from Kuwait to Doha, Qatar today, 21st March 08. My check-in and hand carry luggage went through the airport screening smoothly. Each of my luggage carried the blue 'Kuwait Airport security passed' sticker. However, at the Qatar airport check in counter, the counter clerk told me that my check-in sample bag needs to be cleared by the Kuwait civil aviation authority. This has never happened with any other airlines. When I appealed to their supervisor, he was extremely rude and arrogant. Well, we decided to head back to Thailand this time. Last time we flew with Emirates. However, the flights with Qatar were coming up cheaper and for the dates and times we wanted. My husband's family had used Qatar in the past and were pleased with their trips. So, we decided to go with them.
