Qatar is the most unprofessional and unreliable airline we have ever encountered

I've traveled international flights many times over the past 20 years but this has got to be the worst experience I've had ever.
We booked our itinerary from Miami, USA to Delhi, India via the Qatar website. For the first leg, they booked us on a "Qatar flight serviced by United Airlines" that did not exist. I reached the airport 3 hours before my scheduled departure and the United agent told me that Qatar booked me on a flight that didn't exist. My name was on a much earlier flight that was not part of our Qatar confirmed reservation and of course had already left.
When I called "Qatar US Reservations" (not customer service, there is no customer service number to call, only email for Customer service). Can you believe that? They informed us that this happens quite often because the "codeshare" partners (United, American Airlines, etc) do not inform Qatar when they change their flight schedules. We were told that we should try to seek a resolution with United Airlines since they "failed to inform Qatar of the schedule change". Basically, they refused to take any responsibility and blamed their code share partners for the problem. I lost an entire day of travel and they didn't offer me hotel stay or any other compensation.
They kept telling us that could "email customer service to have research done". After hours of arguing with different Qatar people, they finally reworked our Itinerary for the following day beginning with an American Airlines flight. When we arrived to check in, the AA agent informed us that no tickets had been issued by Qatar and we would not be able to board the plane unless tickets were issued in the next 10 minutes. Unbelievably bad customer service from Qatar.
Somehow we managed to have Qatar airways rectify the issue and barely made it on the flight. On reaching NY I talked to the Qatar agent at the gate and she was rude and kept saying email Qatar customer service and they will research it. Exactly same response from the ticketing desk in Delhi.
On my return flight, I asked if they would upgrade me to business class for the all the trouble they caused me, but they were again not friendly and said send an email to customer service. Then on my connecting flight from Houston to Miami my baggage was misplaced. When I called then, they blamed American Airlines for the problem and showed no empathy or sympathy. Terrible customer service.
After my return to the US I got a response from Qatar Airways. They still didn't take any responsibility and kept blaming their code share partners.
They did offer me a 250$ coupon if I travel with Qatar again but I declined.
By far, Qatar is the most unprofessional and unreliable airline we have ever encountered and we will not use them again.
