Country: Canada. The airline went bankrupt in 2001 as Canada 3000 had bought out the Royal Aviation group several months prior to the events of September 11 (Which was initially the downfall of Canada 3000).

      Very helpful

I recently travelled with Royal Airlines on a flight from Manchester to Toronto. They are a relatively small airline and the majority of their flights are internal within Canada. This did not put me off as I had won the trip and I reckoned a free flight was great whoever it was with! However I can now honestly say that I would recommend them and would choose them again if I was travelling that way again. The staff were helpful and polite throughout the flight and all seemed to speak perfect French and English. They were on their feet constantly as there was a complimentary bar service! The feature that impressed me the most was that we could pre-reserve our seats. This wasn't the usual service provided by the package companies but we were able to book specific seats which was a great bonus when travelling with 2 children as we were. There was a booking fee for this service but in my case I felt that it was worth it. We also used the option to pre-book children's meals ( for which there was no charge ). All in all a thoroughly positive experience which I can highly recommend to others.
