Advantages: Low cost, reliable, efficient, pleasant

Disadvantages: Irritating music on tarmac, Hold-luggage charges and expensive food and drink

Cheap, efficient and functional, and evidently so. I recently took a domestic flight with Ryanair. You must pay for any hold luggage you wish to take with you and pay a fine if over the 15kg personal allowance. Once onboard one notices the abundance of advertising in the cabin - evidently how Ryanair keeps its prices low low low. Next, you are irritated by the 'Ryanair Theme Song', which is in the form of a ditty or arguably a sea shanty, but irritaing nonetheless. Don't get me wrong, the flight was on time at both ends and both the cabin and flight crew were professional, attentive and pleasant and the price is well worth the little irritation on departure and arrival. There is food and beverages on offer, although these are NOT included in the ticket price and are unsurprisingly expensive beyond their normal market price. Overall though, if it is a quick, efficient and hastle-free flight that you are looking for, look for Ryanair. I would assume that it would be particularly suited to, but not confined to, business flights, as traveling with hand luggage only is much cheaper. Go fly.

Summary: Go fly.
