I think the main thing to keep in mind when travelling with Ryanair is that you are getting what you have paid for. You will be treated like cattle as they herd you into a small area at your gate. It is difficult not to get sucked into the every man for himself attitude as everyone begins queing as early as possible and then makes a run for the aircraft as soon as they get chance. I recently flew back from Italy with Ryanair and when I stopped to help a woman with a screaming child whose husband had gone ahead to save them seats together (as people with children are no longer priority) a man got quite angry with me for holding up the queue and pushed right past me. It is, however very cheap and so if you aren't looking for exceptional service and luxury and if you're happy to elbow your way to the plane then go right ahead and book with Ryanair!

Summary: value for money but treated like cattle
