Being in the era of the deep recession, travelling abroad has become one of the least thing to think about for anyone - they would rather stay and travel within the UK.

I love travelling and searches for cheap bargin holidays aint an easy task when juggling with work and family. However, a friend had travelling with Ryanair to Dublin and had a brilliant time with her girlfriends. Being a bargin-hunter, I just had to checkout their website. Sure enough, the airline has plenty of destinations to offer (depending on your local airport), they do frequently change their prices and if you are lucky you might even get the flight for free, plus no tax charges!!!!

But please note, that there are optional fees that will incur upon booking, such as credit/debit card payment fee, luggage fee and airport check-in fee. You can view these fees prior to booking on the 'My Travel' tab on the left side of the menu and select 'Ryanair Fees', this will clearly display the optional fees that may occur whilst booking your ticket.

These optional fees can be avoided if you are travelling on a short break, pay with a 'Visa Electron', check-in online, print boarding pass and bring a cabin-size luggage (please read the size restrictions).

The airline is exactly what I expected, there are no screens to watch programmes, but they do provide their Ryanair magazine for free which is rather thick enough to read thoughout your flight. There are some interesting facts in this magazine and details on other holiday destinations on their available flight routes - I've kept mine to refer to my next holiday destination with them.

Food and drinks are available to purchase on the flight, but as expected it is abit more experience than purchasing the items on ground. Therefore, I would highly recommend you to eat and buy a bottle of water before getting on your flight.

The flight is rather noisey than the usual short haul flights, but I must say they are extremely on schedule with their flight times. Outbound flight, we were about 20 minutes early, and the inbound flight we were about 10 minutes early which is very good for a budget airline.

I would highly recommend this airline to anybody who wants to have a short break without breaking the piggy bank!

Summary: Great for a quick getaway at a very low price!
