Advantages: Cheap, easy to book online

Disadvantages: Don't have priorty for Children and Babies

I flew with Ryan air to malaga in April this year. Firstly I would say, be careful with the booking process as flights look cheap but as you progress there alot of added on charges, which can prove to be more than others by the time you have paid for all the extras. However the booking process is simple and easy to book online. The flight was very basic and the plane was very small with slightly less leg room than other low cost airlines. Also refreshments are substantially dearer than other airlines so beware - a coffee costs £3.50.
I was dissappointed at the free for all to get on the plane unless you pay the extra, as i had a three year old child and a 5 month old baby and it was very stressful and slow to get on the plane. It was all a rush once we had got on and we were almost on the runway by the time people were in the seats. Due to the rush we did not have time to get organised and get the babys milk out of the bag in the overhead locker before we took off, so you can imagine how great that was for the first 15mins with a screaming baby until we could get the bag down.
If you want a quick cheap flight then this could be for you, but i would cross check the prices against other providers and if you have children i would be inclined to stear away as the last thing you want is to fight your way on a plane with children, buggies etc in tow.
One more thing I would add is if you pay for a hold bag (Suitcase) you only get a 15kg allowance, much lower than some other companies and you do not get extra allowance for infants, which is usually arround 5kg.

Summary: may not suit people with children
