General Info
----------------
Ryanair is an Ireland based low cost airline, with its headquarters at Dublin Airport, Ireland, and with primary operational bases at Dublin Airport and London Stansted Airport.

Ryanair operates 200 Boeing 737-800 aircraft on over 850 routes across Europe and North Africa from its 36 bases. The airline has been characterised by rapid expansion, a result of the deregulation of the air industry in Europe in 1992 and the success of its low cost business model. Ryanair is the third-largest airline in Europe in terms of passenger numbers and the world's largest in terms of international passenger numbers.

Destinations
---------------
Ryanair offer a great wealth of destinations to fly too. The best range of flights leave from London Stansted, as this is their main UK base. An example of some of the great cities which you can visit are;
Dublin
Alghero
Milan
Paris
Basle
Barcelona
Krakow
Warsaw
and many many more.

Seriously, there are just too many to list in one go on this site. It would take the word total absolutely through the roof. So if you want to find out more about destinations then go to

Prices
-------
This is definately the main advantage when flying with Ryanair. In general, a flight to another major european city, taking off from somewhere such as Stansted, will set you back between £30-£70, depending on where you want to go.

However, Ryanair are currently doing a great bulk of winter deals, ranging from £10 flights to those that you can get for just 1p!!! This includes all the taxes and everything so don't think there are loads of hidden charges.

My experiences
-------------------
Everyone says that by travelling with Ryanair you forgoe any right to complain and basically you get shoved around and get treated like a piece of dirt. They say the leg room is none-existant and the staff are rude.

However, i have now travelled with the company on 3 occasions, and i have never ever had any of these problems. The staff have always been polite and considerate, check in times and procedures have always been efficient and leg room has been absolutely mountainous compared to that of charter companies such as Thomas Cook (read my review for their disgraceful leg room).

Therefore, i would definately recommend Ryanair, its a no frills air-line, so you get what your given, but, in my experience, this has always been nothing but the best.

Summary: The best low cost airline

I agree with what you say: not worse than any other budget carriers and much cheaper. But I never had anything go wrong, so can't say what happens there.

personally I don't like them but they do seem to be either very good or very bad, I guess it's all about expectations!
