Advantages: Cheap fares

Disadvantages: Must meet a number of requirements in order to buy cheap fares

Ryanair is a low cost airline, whereby if you look hard enough and know how to play the game can get a penny flight. You either use it to buy your 1p or £1 flight and check in online or you should not fly with them at all! Simple as that. Everyone knows that Ryanair has also been one to charge for this supplement and that supplement, ranging from checking in to having check in baggage. Everybody also knows that if you require any customer service from Ryanair you have to pay for it.

People who fly with Ryanair should do so with caution and should meet a number of requirements:

1. Must be very flexible with dates and times to avoid paying charges
2. Must have alot of time on your hands to search for these flights
3. Must be open to where about in the 'city' they arrive
4. Must not be going on a trip for any more than 2/3 nights, as you will have to pay to check your bags in, thus also paying for airport check in
5. Must have a printer that is reliable and can print on demand
6. Must have a VISA Electron card

If you fit the above the requirements, then you will enjoy flying with Ryanair. I have had a number of very enjoyable trips flying with Ryanair, so you can too!

* Ease of booking *
If you have the time, you will be able to find those cheap flights. Once you have found those cheap flights (the ones that do not charge tax) then actually making a booking is pretty easy! You simply fill in the required details such as your name, date of birth, address.. that type of thing. When it comes to the payment stage of the process, do make sure you have a Visa Electron Card, as other cards will charge you a heavy fee, which is very unjust. Other than that, actually making the booking is quite easy.

* Variety *
Ryanair does offer a variety of locations, but unfortunately they are usually not the locations we want. For example when I flew to 'Barcelona' with my friends, we ended up arriving in Gerona, and hour away on a coach ride. Locations are all within Europe apart from maybe a few that creep up time to time. Good locations, if they were where they say they are.

* Service *
What service?

* Extras *
What extras? Unless you pay for it.
You can get what Ryanair calls extras, which any other airline would probably class as standard.
Few examples are: checking in baggage, checking in at the airport, using your credit card to pay for your booking

= The Verdict =
If you want low-cost, Ryanair is the one, but make sure you know the reals.

Summary: Not so bad of an airline
