Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: A lot of hidden costs but play Ryanairs game and your flights will be cheaper than most bus tickets

Ryanair offer the best value for money of all the airline company's however there can be a number of hidden costs. However you can avoid some of these costs by booking early.

Ryanair offer plenty of deals on their website and it is by far the cheapest way to travel. You can usually manage to get flights for as little as £1 and a lot of the time these deals will include the all taxes that you would normally have to pay so a return ticket can cost as little as £2. However if you aren't able to get one of these deals the costs will usually end up being around £35 for the cheapest flights.

Ryanair make you pay £5 to check in online however many flights will come with a free online check in so make sure to look for these ones before booking. Having to pay to check online is a complete joke as Ryanair are saving money by making everyone check in online. This is a great time saver though as you don't have to worry about queuing at the check in desks unless you have luggage you need to check in. Due to this you can arrive at the airport an hour or so before your flight and have enough time that you don't have to rush through the airport. You do have to make sure you check in at least 4 hours before your flight leaves and the earliest you can check in is 15 days before your flight.

You will also be charged a £10 booking fee per person every time you book a flight but if you have an electron card you don't have too pay this fee so if you decide to use Ryanair on a regular basis getting one of these cards maybe worthwhile.

You will also be charged £20 for every bit of luggage that you want to check in to the planes hold. You won't be charged for taking a bag onto the plane though bu you just have to make sure it weighs less than 10kg so if you are only going for a few days it would be best to just take carry on luggage.

Of course all food and drink on the planes is fairly costly but you will find this with all airline carriers and to save money I tend to buy a drink in the airport.

Ryanair offer great customer service and the vast majority of their flights are on time and because of the quick turn around time they have you wont have to wait long to board once the plane has arrived at your airport.

I have never had any problems when using Ryanair and have been using them for a number of years. I would recommend them to anyone wanting cheap flights and they have a large number of places that they fly to.

Summary: Easily the best airline company out there
