We've never flown with Easyjet, buthave done many times with Ryanair. I know that Ryanair seems to get a good amount of bad press, but we've never had any problems with them. Fair enough now with all the chrages that they are putting on, then that is a bit of a wind up, but in the end it still works out as a cheap flight.
We got 2 return flights to Frankfurt which cost £40. Bargain. We got return flights to Rome for £120, still cheap since it was mid year, and all the other pleaces we've been have all been around the £80 mark.
The bit misleading thing about Ryanair is that they offer flights for 1p, or £1 or something, but when all the taxes have been added on then it mounts up a lot more, but still cheap compared to British Airways and that. Now they are charging for baggage so it seems that they are trying to get as much money now as possible, with still looking like they are cheap and cheerful.
The planes are alright, the staff are ok, and they seem to work quick enough. I believe they only have a 25 minute turnaround from landing the plane to going out again, so they keep walking up and down the aisle asking for any rubbish, no doubt to try and get things done while in the air.
A cheap and cheerful airline that does what it says. Why can't other airlines offer such a low price?
