OK so they are not hidden, but not very obvious, especially if you have used Ryanair before. I can't argue that the value for money is exceptional and that I have been very pleased with my last journey to Sweden for less that £10/head return - unbeatable.

HOWEVER! with my latest booking, I did not read the small print on the new credit card surcharges vs direct debit charges and found that my trip was £24 more expensive because I paid by credit card.

You can pay 10p per minute to phone the call centre and listen to recorded advertising message (grrr) for a while before they (very politely) let you know that you can't chose a different payment method if you have already made the purchase.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ryanair as a great & cheap way to travel, but if you are a total tightwad like me, chose your payment method carefully and save even more money.

PS I wish they'd get rid of the irritating expedia pop-ups on this site! that's someone I won't be buying from (double grrr)

I'm going to stand up for Ryanair! Their prices are soooo low already that its hardly a big asking. Plus the staff have been lovely when i've flown with them!

Hi! I see proxam has already instructed you on how to get the most out of the site, believe him, he's right!

I haven't seen a pop-up ad for yonks! I use Opera and have clicked on the pop-up ban and that's it.

It would be great if you added to this opinion to give other information about Ryanair - I've never flown with them myself, but have heard you can get some bargains so it would be good to hear more of your opinion on the actual service they give you if you fly with them.
