Advantages: Good food, no delays & excellent in-flight entertainment

Disadvantages: Can be more expensive than competitors

Singapore Airlines are a really good professional airline. The reason I chose them was because of their good reputation and also because I wanted to stop off at Singapore on my way to Sydney.

I flew via Changi airport both times and there were no delays. What a joy to spend some time at that airport. The facilities are fantastic!

Anyway, back to the airline. I flew economy and it was spacious. I sat in a row of three seats and there was plenty of leg room. The food was really tasty and the wine was plentiful. The service was quick and unobtrusive. I also enjoyed the in-flight entertainment, although I would say Emirates is slightly better. The cabin crew were immaculately dressed and were very professional at all times. There was a certain 'sophistication' about them that isn't on other airlines.

I would have no problem flying with Singapore Airlines again and would definitely recommend them to family/friends.

Summary: Good reliable, comfortable airline
