Professional and comfortable, even on long-haul economy! (Singapore Airlines)

I have flown Singapore Airlines several times and I can honestly say that they offer an exceptional service, especially on long-haul flights which can become a huge chore for passengers stuck in the air for 12 hours straight.

Flying economy was almost a pleasure as the seats were comfortable and the inflight entertainment extensive and varied. I am tall (6ft1) but hardly felt cramped in their seats, though luckily twice I had no one next to me and the third time I was given the slightly bigger 'emergency seat' (something that the staff were very good to arrange).

As for service, well I felt spoilt. The wine selection was excellent, and the food, well, I was extremely impressed. Ok, it wasn't haute cuisine but for airline food it was fresh and tasty and the drinks and snacks kept running non-stop through the flight! The staff were pleasant and very professional too and it felt like they were giving one-to-one service. (I was also enchanted with how often the staff were cleaning the loos as it was almost on a one-by-one process.)

All in all a highly pleasurable experience

Summary: I never look forward to flying as much as I do on Singapore Airlines
