Singapore Airlines offers an excellent standard of air travel. We have flown with Singapore Airlines many times but this was our first journey on the new A380 Airbus. We were pleased as always with our online booking and were able to choose our seats and meals months in advance which ensured that we had two seats on our own together on the top deck. Check in was smooth and we boarded first because we were on the upper deck. Great service as usual with drinks and refreshing hot towels to get your journey off to a good start. We were flying to Singapore and our only criticism was that we were delayed both there and coming back due to techinical problems and had to spend an hour each time sat on the plane before departing which was frustrating as you could not have your headphones on so could not watch any films or listen to music. The meals and service were excellent and there seemed to be more leg room and also extra storage compartments under the windows which were very useful and saved getting up and down. We will definitely fly with them again.
