I am an aviation enthusiast so I chose my airline wisely...So I took Singapore From London to Sydney in December...The Best place to book is on Singapore Airline's main website...Their normal air fares are very competitive.
Their Average Aircraft Age is under 10 years as they like to keep well maintained aircraft. The engineers look after these planes with utmost respect.
I booked one way as I was working in Australia...I was greeted by Singapore Staff as I stepped on to the aircraft and was given a sincere smile and hello. The Pilots were very attentive, you know the feeling when they make sure the seatbelt sign is only on when needed rather than when pilots just forget and leave seatbelt signs on most of the flight...They actively changed Flight Levels when having slight turbulence which is great.

The Food in Economy was very nice, and the cabin crew even came round with wine glasses on a tray (Possibly from the 1st class and maybe occasional)
The Seat Pitch was 32 Inches which is very generous.
The Cabin Crew Worked all flight and were extremely helpfull.
They Enjoyed playing with the kids and are just highly professional.
That's the reason they were voted number 1
And I cannot wait to go with them again.
Also Multi-stop is just as cheap so this is a great thing as you can spend time in singapore if you are returning from australia to england etc.

Summary: Singapore Deliver on everything...
