Advantages: Good value and fantastic service for passengers traveling with kids

Disadvantages: Not many check in staff at the airport

I recently travelled from London Heathrow to Singapore on my way to Sidney Australia. I managed to get the ticket very cheaply as Singapore airlines were having a sale. As I only paid 350 pounds for the ticket I thought if you don't pay much you won't receive much but I couldn't have been more wrong.
The flight was just over 24 hours long with a six hour stop in Singapore but I was very pleased with the service I received. The staff was very polite and helpful and I wanted to particularly note the staff were very good with people who had children and on this occasion I didn't travel with our little baby but if I were to return to Australia I would travel with Singapore airlines as they were so helpful. The plane was quite new and there was plenty of leg space. I'm not usually a fan of airline food but it was pretty reasonable and the entertainment system that was equipped to everyone's sit showed a few films that had just hit the cinema and passed the time well.
In conclusion the airline ticked all the boxes for me, the
staff was friendly and very helpful and very organised. I used believe BA were the best airline for comfort price and customer service now but on this journey Singapore airlines have taken there place.
The only think that was slightly disappointing was the fact that there weren't many check in stations available at Heathrow and as I was running a bit late because of traffic I stood at the back of a queue for about forty minutes
