Advantages: modern aircraft, inflight info, flight times

Disadvantages: sometimes the food

I go to Portugal very often and always try to go with TAP. They seem to be quite consistent in quality and service and there flight times are good.I 've never experinced severe delays and baggage handling has been ok. Not all experiences have been great, but then tell me an airline that gets it right each and every time.

On my most resent flight the food had greatly improved since the last time I had flown with them, as I think the airline was experiencing real financial difficulties and were making some cut backs to quantity and quality. They served up a hot meal which was tasty, with helpings of fresh bread, a few bottles of wine and some barley sugars on landing. The staff were friendly although some do look as though they've been doing it for a few years too long, but polite none the less.

The in-flight magazine 'Atlantis' always makes for an interesting read and the in flight information on the modern screens gives up to date flight info and destination advice.

The aircrafts are always clean and modern but the staff uniforms could really do with an update.

On the whole a good national airline that does Portugal proud. Recommended.
