Advantages: On time and excellent staff

Disadvantages: Aircraft a bit dated and poor in flight entertainment

This review is based on on my trip from London Heathrow to Bangkok Thailand in economy class.

The aircraft was a slightly dated looking Boeing 777, but other than its slightly scruffy appearance it was overall a good flight for the price.

The place was boarded efficiently with no dramas and the flight departed at the scheduled time and arrived at the destination a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time.

Previoulsy I have flown this route with Malaysian so I was disappointed not have the seat back TV screen that they provide, instqad Thai operated a single large screen at the front of the cabin which from where I was sitting was difficult to see.

The overall comfort was as good as one could expect for an economy class long haul flight, the leg room was ample but you always want a little more don't you?

The food wa excellent on boards, a choice of Thai or Western menus. I chose the Thai menu and the food was really very good. Beer, wine, soft drinks and snack were reguarily served throughout the flight.

The real stars though of Thai are the attentive cabin staff, raelly excellent service and the made the journey much more pleasant that it would have been without them.

Summary: Good value economy class longhaul
