Thai Airways: Lovely Service but lacked Entertainment (Thai Airways)

I travelled on Thai Airways to Thailand on my Honeymoon. We flew from London Heathrow to Bangkok. The seats were of standard size, though I was a little disappointed that there weren't screens on the back of the chairs, but just one screen above the seats every third row. As the flight was around 12 hours, I was looking forward to watching a couple of movies, but the lack of good films made me have to seek out my own entertainment-I managed to read two books and play endlessly on my Nintendo DS. I would suggest taking some form of entertainment with you for this long flight. I was, however, impressed by the service and standard of food on the flight. You are given a menu at the start of the flight and you can make a choice of what you would like to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed the food on the flight-exceptionally good for aeroplane food. The air hostesses were attentive and very friendly. On the way back to London, all the women were given fresh orchids, which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, I would fly with them again, but they would not be my first choice for a long flight.
