On my last trip to Bangkok I took a seat upon a British Airways flight, the experience wasn’t a good one and I swore I wouldn’t use them again for this kind of long haul flight unless it was absolutely necessary. This time around I picked Thai Airways, a brief search on the net came back with some favourable opinions on the airline and ... Read the complete review

I flew Thai in April 2003 from London (Heathrow) to Auckland NZ. Thai services Auckland twice daily to/from Bangkok - once via Brisbane and another via Sydney Australia. Its a good thing if you have the time to spend in these places but if your final destination is Auckland the extra stop on the way makes it realistically too long a ... Read the complete review

The thing I like most about Thai Airways is that it is very inexpensive (around $ 20-30 US) to upgrade to first class, at least domestically. Haven't flown them internationally since I am high up on the Northwest FF scale, and Thai doesn't fly out of Minneapolis anyway. Also, there are always plenty of Thais around who are ... I have had the pleasure of flying Thai now a few of times on medium and short haul in economy and have found it always a pleasure. The staff at check in and on the plane are charming, polite and always have tried to do everything to help. Add to the fact that ( and I know I am being sexist here so apologies ) they have the best looking ... Read the complete review

Our experiance with Thai international and also the domestic Thai Airways has always been an enjoyable one. The flight staff are extremley helpful, courtious and freindly. The food is far better than most airlines that I have used and there is always much more legroom even on the internal flights on smaller planes. All in all Thai Airways makes ... Thai is a pretty great airline to fly with. Their staff are courteous, and graceful in their service. Check in was a painless procedure, and on first at the airport in Bangkok a concierge escorts you from the check in desk through an express channel at immigration right through to the lounge. When the flight is called, a concierge again ... Read the complete review

Having flown with Thai International before, I thought the only real problem was with the PA system. However, this soon stopped and thereafter this was an enjoyable flight. There were plenty of refreshments and food provided; which made a nice break to the journey! The in flight movies were good quality also. Initially, the check in ... Read the complete review

I flew recently with Thai on my honeymoon to Bali (Indonesia) from Rome via Bangkok. We flew business class and the ticket was super cheap: £700 each for a 8,000 miles trip! Beside the price, the staff was very courteous in typical Asian style and the food was decent. We flew from Rome to Bangkok with an old B747 and the business class ... Read the complete review

My all time favourite airline, I have only flown once (for a holiday in Bangkok 2 years ago) it was chosen through a recommendation from a good friend who flew there fairly regularily. It is well known generally for its excellent service and is sold on this in advertisements as the airline of smiles, surprisingly its true. Cabin crews were both ... Read the complete review

I have recently made several journeys with Thai Airways. Since I needed to make stopovers in Bangkok, it seemed the most convenient line to use. I was particularly impressed with the service on board and the configuration of the aircraft - generally I flew in a 777-300. There was more leg room than I anticipated. I am a tall European and had heard ... Read the complete review

i am lucky enough to get discounted travel due to my husband working for an airline. This can cause its own problems, the tickets are booked through my husbands workplace so you do not get a timetable or any other information just those tickets. As I am about to depart within the week I needed to know the flight times & alternatives. One ... Read the complete review

I cannot speak a bad word about my experience with Thai airlines. The service was excpetional. Kind, courteous air hostesses who were always happy to help you and constantly offering drinks and refreshments and making sure your flight was comfortable and relaxed. Nothing was too much to ask. The food was superb, I have never enjoyed the ... Read the complete review

Just flown Thai Airways from Heathrow to Bangkok, Bangkok to Bali, and it was one of the best economy flights I have had. I fly quite a lot with business so I get quite used to lots of leg room and good food, making it even less bearable when I travel economy out of my own pocket. However, Thai Airways were excellent. Very spacious seating ... Read the complete review
