Thomas Cook AirlinesNewest Review: ... it was a 9am flight. The rest of the airport experience was fine. Coming to boarding the flight was called on time, boaring was prompt, efficient and all passengers were on board with about fifteen minutes to spare, and we were greeted warmly by the crew and assisted finding our seats. The flight took off on time despite a small technical issue. On board the flight we were greeted by the ... more |

Two weeks ago I travelled on Thomas cook airlines as part of a package holiday from Manchester airport to Sharm-El-Shiek in Egypt. Pre-Flight service I felt was very good- despite check-in que being quite long and me thinking the wait would be a while, we waited about five minutes to be served, there was alot of check-in desks open and staffed, considering it was a 9am flight. I always book my holidays with Thomas Cook, but this was the first time our package holiday included a flight that used Thomas Cook Airlines. We booked our holiday to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in March 2009. Our holiday was in July 2009. I didn't have any concerns at all when I saw who we were flying with. I have nothing but good things to say about Thomas Cook travel agency, and thought this would be the same with the airlines side too... how wrong I was. As we would be travelling on such a long flight, I decided straight away that I wanted to book seats on the plane for myself and my boyfriend. Normally I would not even have ... I recently booked a package holiday through Thomas Cook and the flight was on Thomas Cook airlines. I find flying quite boring at the best of times so was not particularly looking forward to the 5 and 1/2 hour flight. I ended up rather enjoying the outbound flight. Something novel was the fact they have camera's underneath the plane which enable you to see the ground when you take off and land. The seats were relatively comfy, however I am only 5'3, I would imagine taller people would have a different view. The staff were friendly and efficient. The meal was quite tasty, it was breakfast which included sausages, scrambled egg, beans, a blueberry muffin, orange ... Read the complete review

My Wife and Travel a lot and we recently have been on holiday to the south of France travelling with Thomas Cook Airlines as part of a package holiday. We booked everything via the website but just to check we also called the call centre to verify all the booking details and spoken to a very charming man who was very helpful and went through on the phone with us all our plans and also if we needed any extras like car hire. The man didn't push any services onto us which really made the conversation and we put the phone down feeling very happy that we had book with a professional airline and tour company. The flight left early from ... Read the complete review

I recently flew to Tenerife (and back) with Thomas Cook Airlines. Our holiday was booked as a package with Thomas Cook and our flights were on the company's own planes - no problem there, we've been with Thomas Cook many times before. Arriving at Manchester Airport, we were greeted with one of the biggest queues we've ever seen - even though it was well before 7am. Thinking it'd take ages to check-in, we joined the queue but were pleasantly surprised when the queue started moving at a fair rate of knots... Thomas Cook had around a dozen check-in desks open, with one queue feeding them all, this meant that you didn't have to judge which queue was moving fastest ... Read the complete review
