Thomas Cook fail to fix broken seats (Thomas Cook Airlines)
Member Name: Tim
Advantages: none Disadvantages: poor quality seating, even poorer customer service I had the same problem with a broken seat that wouldn't stay upright. Reported it to cabin crew who promised to get an engineer to look at it then didn't as they said waiting for an engineer would mean they would lose their take-off slot. Complained to customer services when I got home who took over 30 days to reply (their ABTA membership should mean an acknowledgement within 14 days and a full response within 28 days) and told me no fault had been reported with the seat. I phoned the Air Transport Users Council on 0207 240 6061 who advised me to complain to the CAA which I have done. This was the same plane that had an out of order toilet on the outbound flight and the same toilet was still out of order on the return flight a week later. Thomas Cook obviously don't believe in servicing their planes properly. Summary: do thomas cook leave enough time to service their planes properly? |
