I will NEVER fly Thomas Cook airlines again!!! (Thomas Cook Airlines)

I will NEVER EVER fly with Thomas Cook again!!! We had been on a weeks cruise and flew back to Gatwick airport from Crete on 11th June 09. The plane was delayed on the way out and also delayed again coming back to the UK.

BAD POINTS:

Outward journey: Cramped with hardly any leg room. Charges for everything, even headphones so didn't bother nor did anyone else!! Theplane we flew on only had a few TV screens dotted here and there. Most planes I have flown on have at least one screen per person!!!

Toilets were out of order so there was a mile long queue for just one loo.

Homeward journey:

Plane delayed AGAIN. We were told it was because a bird had flown into the engine but was all sorted. On take off the enginge made an awful noise and everyone was starting to panic. Even the air hostess was in tears (so I was told!!!) I thought the pilot (which was a woman) would have at least put our minds at rest with some sort of tannoy explaining that it was quite normal? I have flown many times before and NEVER heard such an awful noise coming from the engine. I shook throughout the whole 4 hour journey and this has put me off flying for life.

Oh forgot to add when we landed the pilot left it so late to brake we all thought we were going to overshoot the runway. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief once it had landed!!

I will fly Virgin next time, they are excellent compared to Thomas Cook airlines.

Summary: Never again!!
