Oooh ! what a relief to get off !
I have recently returned from Sharm-El-Sheikh to Birmingham International with my Wife and Daughter,in Thomas Cook "Cattle Class".The flight price was considerably more than our trip last year to Sharm,which was from Gatwick with British Airways.We feel that we didn't get very good value for money though.The flight was on time in both directions,however the legroom on the plane (a very old Boeing 757) was totally unacceptable for a five hour plus flight.I am only 5'9" tall,but i couldn't believe the amount of taller people who were asking to be moved to a seat with more room.I haven't seen so much moving around on an aircraft (120+ flights in 35 years).
I found this to be the most unconfortable flight of my life,and while i think i could just have managed a 2 and bit hour hop to Alicante,i would have to be paid to experience this trip to Egypt again.
Thomas Cook need to re-configure their longer-haul planes with a few less seats,to give more people decent comfort for their money (the flights are more than scheduled flights to Dubai with the likes of Emirates and Qatar airways)
If you fancy flying over 5 hours with this airline,then good luck to you.
