Basic but overall plesant (Thomas Cook Airlines)

I recently flew Thomas Cook from Manchester airport to Holguin, Cuba. It was a 9 hour trip each way and while the seats are slightly on the smaller size, considering the price paid, I feel the flights were value for money. I do feel that the entertainment system however is fairly limited; with most of the desirable options being an added extra with, what I felt was a high charge especially considering the length of the flight. The staff were friendly and very happy to accommodate any requests and even handed round free ice cream on the outbound flight, which was a pleasant surprise. The onboard food available to buy was much of a much ness to that of Easy Jet in terms of choice and price. One complaint I had about the flight back to England was that on this plane (unfortunately I am unsure of the model) all the toilets were grouped together and located on a lower floor. This means that if you have mobility impairment, it is difficult to access these facilities. They also insist on you wearing shoes down the stairs, and if you are a flyer like myself who likes to enjoy the flight in the comfort of your own socks it is a bit of an inconvenience to get to the front of the queue to be told politely by the airhostess on toilet monitoring duty to please return to your seat, put on shoes and then rejoin the back of the queue. So, as long as you remember to take your shoes to the toilet with you and don't mind having to re-watch the same 3-4 films in a long haul flight, I would recommend flying with Thomas Cook.

Summary: Overall not bad when compared to other budget airlines
