Fantastic airline to fly with (Thomas Cook Airlines)

Advantages: Good friendly service and engish speaking call centre

Disadvantages: Better infornation on any delays but over all good experience

My Wife and Travel a lot and we recently have been on holiday to the south of France travelling with Thomas Cook Airlines as part of a package holiday.

We booked everything via the website but just to check we also called the call centre to verify all the booking details and spoken to a very charming man who was very helpful and went through on the phone with us all our plans and also if we needed any extras like car hire. The man didn't push any services onto us which really made the conversation and we put the phone down feeling very happy that we had book with a professional airline and tour company.



The flight left early from Bristol airport and we arrived to see a massive queue of about 400 people. It turned out that some of the check in desks was having technical problems but we weren't told this until we got to the front of the queue.

In all fairness the woman who served us was very efficient and processed our application in a friendly manner even though you could tell she had enough by the time she got to us. We put the problems at check in behind us and got some food before making our way to the departures.

The problems didn't end there as the flight by about three hours and travelling with a young child to be told the flight is running late is a nightmare at the best of times.

We were kept informed and the airline did bring us some toys and baby food which really helped things.



Eventually we got on board and the rest of the flight was quite uneventful.

The customer service I received was good pretty much through out from booking to exiting the plane back home. Customer service is important to me as I like to feel like a person and not another number on there balance books. The plane was clean and tidy and the food on board was acceptable. The drinks however were quite expensive.

I would use the airline again as I feel that the problems were a one off and the service we received made up for the disappointments. I would travel with the airline again and would recommend others as well
