Advantages: Punctuality, Cabin crew, food and Entertainment

Thomas Cook Airlines (TCX)... what an excellent charter airline company. Here's a little history to start off....
Thomas Cook Airlines as you could guess belong to travel company Thomas Cook! They are a brand new airline company who began services very late in March 2003. The company itself are made of JMC Airlines, and Condor Flugline and are mainly based at Manchester!
Personally I never though Thomas Cook could live up to JMC.... but they have been very successful at doing so... as we flew out in late March our flight over from Birmingham was actually a JMC and was once again very good. We flew home on Sunday March 30th so we were on the first Thomas Cook flights to take to the skies! And I must say... for a first day in the business I was expecting delays... but actually the flight departed 30 minutes early! 4hrs. 15mins. in the sky would have been very boring if it wasn't for the excellent entertainment they offered! Comedy, Childrens, and Popular shows were shown and the choice of music was also excellent!
On the flight over we recieved a menu card from JMC but didn't with TCX... I don't know if they just hadn't been prepared or if TCX don't offer them... but it was a nice surprise! The flight was quite early morning so we had a cooked english breakfast... which amazingly didn't taste like plastic!!!!
The cabin crew were very nice and made you feel as welcome as possible... the pilot was also very good offering an excellent take-off and punctual service.. he also informed us every so often of our whereabouts and how long until landing.
Our landing at Birmingham was soft and around 40 mins ahead of schedule.
Overall I would strongly recommend TCX to anyone although they don't offer a great range of UK origins! We had to travel all the way from South Wales to get this flight and I think it was 99.99999999999999999999999% better than MyTravel!

- 08/04/03 I never knew Thomas Cook Airlines even existed, but they sound great, I'd definitely use them in the future now.
You're right, there is "no better word than: Excellent", and your review is certainly an excellent one! Well done.
