Advantages: Gorgeous comfy, big seats, Priority Luggage, Fast Check in and lovely cabin crew

Disadvantages: NONE

I went with my family to Florida from Newcastle airport on Thursday 12th June 2003. At check in we had a que dedicated to pasengers flying Thomas Cook Plus, which helped speed our waiting times up. They even places priority baggage labels on the suitcases.

We were invited to board the aircraft before other economy passengers, which meant we didnt have to que to board the aircraft. When we boarded we were greated kindly by the air hostesses who helped us find our seats. Wwe than sat back, fastended our seatbelts and relaxed in our beige leather seats which were extremely comfortable. They had head rests that we could adjust to improve comfort and we were given blankets, pillows, and a bag containing toileteries to help freshen our self up throughout the flight. The food was delicious, we had the choice of a chicken Princess or Oriental chicken. We were given a traditional cream tea later in the flight too! Drinks were complimentary of the airline including wine and spirits. The seats also had a seat back screen for each passenger. The entertainment was great, we had a selection of films that had just until recently been out at the cinemas.
On arival in Sanford, Orlando, Florida, our luggage was some of the first to pass along the conveyor belt in the arivals lounge, this is because our priority baggage got loaded off first. We managed to beat the hustle and bustles of everyone coming out of the airport and to the car hire place!

On v return journey, like the outward, we checked in at our dedicated check in. and boarded the aircraft ahead of other passengers. Once more we could relax in our seats on the 9 hour journey home which seemed to go very fast. The crew were very helpful just like they were on the outward flight. They served us a choice of a chicken or beef dinner, which was really nice. Later on as we aproached dawn flying within 2 hours of the UK, we were served a breakfast of muffins and yoghurts along with morning coffee and cups of te
a.
On arival in Newcastle I was so comfy I didnt really want to get off. The luggage like at sanford, Florida, was loaded off first.

I Would fly Thomas Cook again definantely and would highly recomend that you upgrade your seats as every penny is worth it. There were no delays what so ever on either of the flights meaning we made perfect timing ariving into Newcastle. I want to be an air steward purser when i'm old enough and after enjoying my flight with Thomas Cook I'd love to be part of the company in the future.

excellent review. I agree it is certainly worth paying that bit more to upgrade rather than sitting in agony for a 9 hour flight.
