Two weeks ago I travelled on Thomas cook airlines as part of a package holiday from Manchester airport to Sharm-El-Shiek in Egypt. Pre-Flight service I felt was very good- despite check-in que being quite long and me thinking the wait would be a while, we waited about five minutes to be served, there was alot of check-in desks open and staffed, ...  Read the complete review

I always book my holidays with Thomas Cook, but this was the first time our package holiday included a flight that used Thomas Cook Airlines. We booked our holiday to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in March 2009. Our holiday was in July 2009. I didn't have any concerns at all when I saw who we were flying with. I have nothing ...  Read the complete review

I recently booked a package holiday through Thomas Cook and the flight was on Thomas Cook airlines. I find flying quite boring at the best of times so was not particularly looking forward to the 5 and 1/2 hour flight. I ended up rather enjoying the outbound flight. Something novel was the fact they have camera's underneath the plane ...  Read the complete review

My Wife and Travel a lot and we recently have been on holiday to the south of France travelling with Thomas Cook Airlines as part of a package holiday. I recently flew to Tenerife (and back) with Thomas Cook Airlines. Our holiday was booked as a package with Thomas Cook and our flights were on the company's own planes - no problem there, we've been with Thomas Cook many times before. Arriving at Manchester Airport, we were greeted with one of the biggest queues we've ever seen - even ...  Read the complete review

I'm recently returned from a flight with Thomas Cook airlines, and after being off the plane for 48 hours, I am happy to report that my legs have now completely straightened out! Our check in with Thomas Cook was very easy and hassle free, we were very early for the check in and there wasn't a single person in front of us in the ...  Read the complete review

Thomas Cook Flight to Cayo Coco Guillermo. Departure time 1220. At 1140 hours the flight was advertised as Boarding. Went to the Departure Gate to be told there was a delay of possibly 1 - 2 Hours. Technical Fault was the excuse. At 1415 hours the Pilot made the announcement that the plane was delayed due to a Technical fault (later found out ...  Read the complete review

I recently flew Thomas Cook from Manchester airport to Holguin, Cuba. It was a 9 hour trip each way and while the seats are slightly on the smaller size, considering the price paid, I feel the flights were value for money. I do feel that the entertainment system however is fairly limited; with most of the desirable options being an added extra ...  Read the complete review

We have just returned from Florida, flying with Thomas Cook airlines from Newcastle to Sanford. I have to say I was very concerned about how comfortable I would be on a long haul flight with a company I had heard so many negative reviews. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall, and thought my knees would be jammed into the seat in front! I am also ...  Read the complete review

I have only ever flown with thomas cook airlines on one return journey and i was not in the least bit impressed with them. For starters at Glasgow they only had one check in guest open, with another 3 or 4 empty, and there were far more than 100 people waiting to check in. I was just glad that i was there 3 hours before my flight!! It wasn't ...  Read the complete review

I have travelled with Thomas Cook Airlines twice in the past 12 months. The first time was to Gran Canaria, the second time was to Canada. The cabin was clean enough altough I did think that the upholstery on the seats was a bit grubby, but, I guess thats just what everyone has come to expect these days, unless your flying with British ...  Read the complete review

I have travelled with Thomas Cook airlines twice in the past 10 months and was fairly disappointed both times. The first trip was to Canada and we booked just the flight, although I wasn't expecting it to be up to the standards of Virgin or British airways I was still disappointed. Our holiday to the Dominican Republic started bad with a 22 hour delay and we had to spend the night in a Gatwick hotel but were not given our luggage back so had to wear same clothes the following day. Horrendous, the worst flight ever, on a flight to Turkey we were on board the aircraft for 5 hours in total, 5 hours of agony in seats, that even my wife who is 5ft 6" found cramped, imagine what taller larger people went through. On the return we were told that there were no extra legroom seats available, on board we found that these seats ...  Read the complete review

Thomas Cook fail to fix broken seats (147 words)

I had the same problem with a broken seat that wouldn't stay upright. Reported it to cabin crew who promised to get an engineer to look at it then didn't as they said waiting for an engineer would mean they would lose their take-off slot.
