Great charter airline (Thomsonfly)

I recently had the pleasure of flying to Barcelona with Thomsonfly departing from Coventry airport which is a really small airport and Thomson are the only airline to fly from this location.

Booking using the internet was really quick and easy and I was really impressed with the prices that we got which were competitve wih Easyjet and Ryanair and while these sometimes end up landing at a regional airport nowhere near your final destination Thomson fly into the main airport in Barcelona. This is a good thing as the only downside with using this airline is the one flight a day to Barcelona leaves in the evening so it is past 9.00 local time when you land, the thought of a one hour transfer rather than a 25 minute taxi ride is not appealing at that time of night.

Check in was very efficient and the plan started boarding on time which was a good sign. Also unlike other airlines you had an allocated seat.

I found the plane to be clean and whilst it was not that modern there was plenty of leg room which is always a nice surprise. On this flight if you wanted anything to eat then you had to pay for it and the food was a little pricey but you expect that on a charter airline. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful although thy were constantly on the go and had little time for pleasantries.

The retun journey was equally as comfortable and I certainly would consider using them again as they are competitive on price and Coventry is a really convenient airport for us.
