Advantages: semi cheap clean cherfull nice staff
Disadvantages: small seats not a lot of leg room
We recently visited Austria and booked an all inclusive holiday through crystal ski which is part of the Thompson fly group.
We flew from Gatwick London to Salzburg airport in Austria.
Check in was fast and easy the staff on the counter were very helpful and were more than willing to have a little chat and seemed to be genuinely happy for so early in the morning.
We boarded our flight, the flight crew seemed very helpful, and were willing to answer any questions we had.
We dint opt for the in-flight meal as it was only just over the hour on the flight but to our amazement received one free of charge (glad we dint pay now)
The food itself was I think pasta with meatballs it was tasty with a little bread roll and orange juice (which I poured down my very white top by accident).
The service on board was prompt and efficient e.g. clearing up dinners offering teas drink and so on.
The staffs were dressed smart with navy and light blue uniforms.The seating was tight with not a lot of leg room but im only 4'8 so i was ok but my husband of 6 foot got cramp hehe
After a very smooth slight in which a very smooth talking captain spoke to us a few times over the announcement system keeping us up to date on weather and estimated arrival times we landed.
We had an amazing holiday and once my request is processed I shall write my own review on the ski resort.
So to the flight home , this is the sad bit of the holiday once we entered the airport we realized how small departures was wow iv never seen so many people in such a small space surely must have gone against health and safety laws or fire regulations ,so we managed to find a small patch of floor to sit on whist we waited for are details to pop up on the screen , we waited and waited and waited ..................and waited and finally it popped u we were delayed due to over delays (not sure what the delays was but not weather as a clear ski and no frost on the ground on the strip)
So once we finely did board an hour late, we took our seat and then the captain came over the announcement system there had been an avalanche and we had to wait for the rest of the passengers for the flight, two hours later they arrived.
This was not the airlines fault or the passengers but what was the airlines fault is they let the wrong passenger on the plane!!!!! They swiftly took them off again but the poor people were seated and did not have a clue there was going to Gatwick
Once in the air many apologies from the grew and captain and 'free' meals were given out again .
We touched down so late we could not get a train any were and had to stay in a very expensive hotel over night to my husband a disgrace to me an extra nights holiday.
I would fly again with Thompson fly a clean efficient service and nice staff 
Summary: all round good service i think
