Disadvantages: long flites wear you down

I have flown on several different air lines and I think TWA is a class above the rest. They were the first to give you more leg room in their wide body 767. We flew to Hawaii in October 1999 on the 767 in coach class and I must say it was a lot roomier than on the same fight in September 1988 on a 747.

The service was great, about every 2 hours they were feeding us something, the meals were not home cooking, but they were a lot better than TV dinners. After the 8 hours of flight from St. Louis to Honolulu we were not hungry. The long flight will wear you down no matter what class you sit in.

We flew from Louisville, Kentucky to St. Louis then on to Honolulu and then in that reverse order back and we were on time every time. We did have some delays in between the flights, but they did leave on time.

I highly recommend TWA to all.
