There are 32 known accidents and incident that have occurred to United Airlines with a total of 423 death and 482 survivors. This is fairly good since United Airlines has been operating for 82 years. 2 planes of United Airlines where hijacked during 9/11, a Boeing 767-222 better known as flight 175 which crashed into the south tower of the WTC, and a Boeing 757-222 better known as flight 93 (which has been in the movie flight 9) which crashed in rural Pennsylvania.
My Experience with United Airlines:
Personally I think United Airlines is a good company it is very reliable as most to all of its flight were on time and the crew is friendly. When we flew with them places in the economy class on the 767-300ER were roomy just how it should be.
Problems with crew could be that they are fairly old, don't ask me why but that just seems the case, however they are very friendly.
Food is offered on board on most flights, they contain of 1 or 2 meals (breakfast, dinner or lunch). The food offered is just like any other airplane food (not that good). Breakfast consist of croissants and an omelet nothing special really.
Planes are fairly new however some of the 747 could be quiet old but their well kept and maintained. I haven't found a plane I don't like as the paint has fallen of or something looks broken.
Prices are OK ranging from good value to cheap to expensive depending on the location.
United Airlines has onboard entertainment on most long haul flight and they are working on putting personal TV's on every seat on all long haul flight.

- 29/05/08 As I mentioned on your previous, almost identical airline reviews, more personal experience an dlessfacts and figures we can find from the internet would make for a better reviews.
Why is the crew being old a problem? |
