Have we just been unlucky? Virgin Atlantic cabin crew prance around the cabin with a 'look at me' attitude - forget the passengers - they are 'discussed' at the rear of the aircraft out of earshot - not always guys. I have on 7 out of my 8 flights been disappointed with the delivery of customer service by the flight attendants. I have found them rude and unhelpful, intimidating and quite untidy in their appearance.

My last experience with this airline included no soap in any of the toilets onboard - apparently it wasn't loaded in Manchester? A sanitary towel taped to the ceiling to stiffle the 'ding dong' that would not stop and a cabin attendance who i asked for help as i couldn't reach the overhead cabin with a reply of 'what'.

Definately not my first choice of airline, second or third. Virgin Atlantic will be booked only on a necessity basis.

Summary: The crew prefer looking good to delivering a good customer service
