Recently for a leisure trip, I had the pleaure of travelling virgin atlantic upper class to tokyo.

Check in
The limousine arrived to pick me up at 0700Hrs and was very efficient, taking about 1hr 30mins from tunbridge wells. We then checked in in the private Virgin check in area - away from the crowds. We then were directed thorugh virgin's private security channel - a fantastic innovation and one well worth the money of paying for Upper.

Clubhouse
We then entered the award-winning clubhouse - and I can see why. It is unbelievable. It is like a town!! I spent many hours in here, waiting for my flight to begin. There are restaraunts, brasseries, and I had a haircut and shave.

The flight

Then it was time for boarding, and i arrived at my seat - 10A. A fantastic seat, very comfortable, and when turned in to a bed, incredibly comfortable, enabling me to a have a good sleep.

The aircraft

the aircraft was G-VBUG, a340-600, new colours. The flight time was an incredible 12hrs 35mins.

Conclusion

Fantastic, if you have an option, fly virgin atlantic
