great service (Virgin Atlantic)
Member Name: alisonmr
Advantages: lots of nice extra touches Disadvantages: a bit more pricey Have flown with virgin atlantic a couple of times now and would say they are the best airline that we have crossed the atlantic with. First time we were lucky enough to be seated upstairs in premium economy on a jumbo to las vegas. the difference that the extra leg room and wider seats made was huge. I flt that we were treated like real people and not cattle as is often the case on holiday charters. i know we had paid for all the extras but it was the little things like free magazines and papers, ice creams, choice of meals and free drinks that made the biggest difference. also on arrival we were allowed to disembark before the rest of the plane allowing us to get through passpost control quicker. The second time we flew virgin we were in the main body of the plane but also received a great service. i like the fact that after the meal had been served the cabin crew laid out drinks and snacks for everyone to help themselves without having to bother the crew every five minutes. Okay maybe they were a little more expensive but for a flight of nine plus hours it was well worth it. Have joined the virgin flying club as now expect to fly with them every time. Summary: make for a good flight |
